The idea for Breakwater Vineyards was hatched over twenty years ago, as Jeanne and her husband Bill sipped wine in a vineyard in Italy.   They found the perfect 32 acre farm to create their vineyard and winery in the town of Owls Head.  They combined their business skills from working in the private sector and made the move from Cape Cod to Maine.  For the past nine seasons, they have welcomed visitors from all across the country and

the world to enjoy Breakwater Vineyards wine and the beauty

of midcoast Maine.
